The program has been designed as common product for surveillance hybrid platforms functioning all together with wireless and wired Internet webcams, Television-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the identical form and controls on the local and distant pcs. Users view MPEG-4 coded picture and have complete control of the program through network that surveillance pc can be run without monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular composition drastically increases reliability because all components proceed as autonomous programs. If one component fails, other modules keep on running. For instance if the `record` module freezes, `watchdog` starts over it immediately that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching picture via a `playback` part. The software does `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never occurs. The recording can be non-stop or it can be initiated by motion, human face recognition, or by schedule. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance station as well as on remote computer via Web interface. The program does simultaneous video playback for event examination from multiple webcams simultaneously. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
