The program has been designed as general program for surveillance cross platforms working at the same time with wireless and wired Internet webcams, Television-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal look and controls on the local and remote pcs. Customers watch MPEG-4 coded video and have full management of the software via network that surveillance computer can be operated without screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular composition considerably boosts reliability because all units work as autonomous software. If one module fails, other units continue working. For example if the `record` module fails, `watchdog` restarts it immediately that users don`t notice anything because they are watching picture using a `playback` module. The software does `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be initiated by movement, human face detection, or by schedule. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on distant server using Web interface. The program makes simultaneous video playback for event examination from many webcams at the same time. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
